The Humane Society for Hamilton County can provide life-saving medical treatment on 4 animals for a variety of conditions such as broken bones, gun shot wounds, severe skin infections, embedded collars, complications from starvation and severe wounds/lacerations.
The following post is a project update from Kyle Klatt, Campaign Organizer, and the Humane Society for Hamilton County Grassroots campaign that raised $1,610 to provide medical treatment and care for abused and neglected animals at an open-admission facility.
Indianapolis – The $1,610 worth of donations that we finally received has gone to our Survivor Fund, which designates money for abused and neglected animals that come into our care.
The amount raised by the Groupon Grassroots campaign covered the lifesaving treatment of two dogs that were heartworm-positive. They are now healthy, heartworm-negative, and adopted into their forever homes.
