South Oakland Shelter (SOS) can fund a one-week shelter stay for 15 displaced individuals. SOS fills shelter space on a first come, first served basis and provides warm meals for anyone staying overnight.
Rebuilding Together Sacramento was able to outfit 21 low-income Sacramento-area homes with energy-efficient infrastructure upgrades.
To celebrate the launch of Groupon Grassroots, Groupon provided a $1,000 kickoff grant to this campaign.
In raising $1,770, The Tavon Center can purchase all of the materials needed to construct accessible seating for the Build a Bench-a-Thon on June 26, 2012. Additionally, all of the landscaping costs for the event were covered as well.
This campaign raised enough money to purchase all of the materials, equipment, and seeds needed to erect a raised vegetable garden at the American Tortoise Rescue facility. Additional funds allowed 2 turtle ponds to be refurbished.
